Using ~ as a delimiter for Excel file saves
CSV means Comma Separated Values so if saved with "~" de-limiter it could
not be a CSV What you do is save as a *.TXT file. Earl Kiosterud's free TEXTWRITE.xls workbook will do what you want. http://www.smokeylake.com/excel/text_write_program.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 11 Feb 2009 15:11:04 -0800, woc wrote: Would like to save Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file using the delimiter "~" |

Maybe you can temporarily change the windows list separator (under the control
panel|regional settings) to that tilde character. Do your saveAs and then change the list separator back to what you had before. woc wrote: Would like to save Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file using the delimiter "~" -- Dave Peterson |
