Group C -31 Move 5 from Group B to Group F
Group D -1 Move 7 from Group C to Group F
Group E -135 Move 24 from Group C to Group G
Group F 12 Move 1 from Group D to Group G
Group G 160 Move 135 frm Group E to Group G
Group H 0
Group I 0
Group J 0

Hi.. I need either a formula or code that would allocate the abs value of
the negative amounts in the "Diff" columm to the appropriate positive amount
in the same column..

In the example above.. Group B has 13 units too many... Group A has 8
units too little.. I would need excel to allocate 8 of group b's 13 units
to group a, then allocate the remaining 5 to the next positive number (in
this case group f).

In a seperate column it would give the instructions:
"Move 8 from Group B to Group A"
"Move 5 from Group B to Group F"

After the 1st negative number is exhausted, it would go on to the next..
