I am using Excel 2000, and I have several spreadsheets that contain automatic
links and worksheet references. 2000 has very limited functionality when it comes to breaking links and saving values only. There are some situations where I want to update on a master file, but when a user chooses "Save as" I want the formulas to no longer update. Is this possible? Alternatively, in this older version of Excel, is there a way to turn off prompting for updating links and just automatically do that (or not)? That all appears greyed out in my options. Or am I simply SOL until my company gets around to upgrading? Thank you! |
