Default drop down list that drill down

Hi there

I have a cell that uses a list of different ports for validation.
There are several docks at each port, so I want to create another cell that
once a port is chosen in the first cell, only those dock at that given port
are on the list.

EI

cell 1 = "ALP" (port that is chosen from validation list)
cell 2 (validation list only docks in "ALP")

How is this done?

See Debra Dalgleish's site for more on dependent lists.

These are called dependent drop down lists and require the use of multiple
"named ranges". I have created and uploaded a sample of this in action for
another user, you can look at it he

An explanation of building these lists is found he
