Hi,

Tell us precisely what you used to be able to do in Lotus123 because the
Excel method of selecting a bunch of cells with the mouse and tapping CTRL+c
sounds remarkably like what your saying Lotus could do.

Hi,

I misread your post. I don't know of any way of selecting a paste area
before you copy the cells in Excel.

You could specify a Range of cells - for example $AA$1:$AC$1000 and put that
range in another cell like Z1. Then in a macro you could copy whatever cells
you need and paste in the range defined in cell Z1. You can also check out
the "Indirect" function or "Index" function. I'm not sure exactly what
you're trying to do, but it is likely that you can do it with macros or those
functions.

You could use a macro and ask for each of the ranges in any order you like.
