I'm trying to set up a workbook on our network for users to enterdata on,
however the sheet needs to be protected. Even if I turn all of the "priviledges" on (give them to the users) in the protection choices, I can't get it to fill down, which will be very important for our users to be able to do. Am I missing something? |

Hi,
you can protect you workbook and have the cells where the users enter data unprotected Highlight the cell where the data will be entered and then right click in the mouse, format cells, Protection , uncheck locked. then protect your workbook other option will be to set up a password for users to enter to be able to open the sheet "AOEO" wrote: I'm trying to set up a workbook on our network for users to enterdata on, however the sheet needs to be protected.
