Hi,

I am using Windows XP.

Most of my functions or commands in excel have a sound associate with them
and i cannot turn them off. Of course, i can turn off my speakers but i don't
want to do that.

i have checked in sounds & devices in the control panel and even slected the
"no sounds" option / theme, but i still get sounds.

i also have this problem in my outlook where i only want a sound played for
new mail and nothing else.

can anyone help me please?
