Scaling numbers for display
A set of decimal values represents (say) lengths in metres. How can they be
formatted so that each individual value is displayed as millimetres, centimetres, metres, ... etc. according to its magnitude? Can this be done using formatting alone, or only with a formula? Can the same thing be done for (say) Imperial/US lengths in inches, feet, yards etc.? |
