Default Need help with a formula

Hi and thanks in advance for your response.

I need a formula that if c3 2499.99 then hightlight a3. Is this possible?

Hi,

use conditional formatting. select A3 then

Format|Conditional formatting -select 'Formula is' and enter this formula

=$C$32499.99

Pick a colour and click OK and your done.

Mike, this works but the amount is in c3 and I need a3 highlighted if it is
greater than 2499.99. We are using Excel 2007.

I don't know how to do it in 2007, I have 2003

In 2003 or 2007 you need to select cell A3 first.

In 2007 then goto Conditional Formatting New Rule "Use a
formula..."
Enter the formula =$C$32499.99
Pick a color
