formula vs value
I wrote a vlookup formula in a cell and all i get is the formula, not the
value of the formula. How can I get the value to populate? |
formula vs value
1. clear the cell
2. format the cell to General 3. re-enter the VLOOKUP formula -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200826 "saraua" wrote: I wrote a vlookup formula in a cell and all i get is the formula, not the value of the formula. How can I get the value to populate? |

You get "the formula, not the value" of which cell: the cell with the vlookup formula, or the cell that vlookup finds? In either case, go to that cell and be sure that the formula starts with "=". |
