Default Gridlines

When I make the background to my worksheet a different color, I cant get the
gridlines to appear. I go through Excel options, choose Advanced and change
the color of the gridlines to black, yet no gridlines appear. Where might I
be going wrong?

Default Gridlines

Hi Brian,

The Gridline Option on the Advanced tab only changes the colour when there
is no background colour in the cells. If you want the gridlines to show
through a background colour you wil need to highlight the area and add
borders either using Format + Cells or the Borders icon next to Fill Colour.

Hope this helps
