Changing Excel defaults
How can I change the default settings used by Excel? For example, I
can't figure out why someone would want the defaul vertical text alignment to be 'Bottom'. How do I change that to 'Top' permanently? TIA, David Excel 2002 SP3 |
Changing Excel defaults
Starting with a new workbook, adjust all the settings/formatting as
you would like them. You can also incorporate headers and footers. Then save this empty file into the XLStart folder as Book.xlt. When you next start XL it will use this template rather than its own defaults. Hope this helps. Pete On Jan 9, 6:54*pm, David Schwartz wrote: How can I change the default settings used by Excel?
