Default Excel Shared Workbook

When I allow a workbook to be shared it seems to take much longer to open and
save. Is this to be expected? I have the file on a network directory
containing five sheets with a modest amount of information in each sheet.
When I unshare the workbook it opens in flash, but when shared it takes 30
seconds or more. Any suggestions?

Default Excel Shared Workbook

Hi,

That is to be expected. Only way around this, that I know of, is to not
share the file.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,
