Excel & Access 2007 SP1 - Data in the Clipboard "damaged"
When I try to copy and paste data from Excel to Access (2007 SP1), I get the
following message:- "The data on the Clipboard is damaged, so Microsoft Access can't paste it. There may be an error in the Clipboard, or there may not be enough free memory. Try the operation again." There's no lack of memory that I know of - anyone have any ideas what is causing this? |

I've had this problem, it turned out to be an issue where the data in the Ecxel file was 255 character and the Access field was 50 characters. -- |

Here's an article I wrote a few weeks ago that offers three workarounds for this problem. Hope it helps: http://www.fmsinc.com/MicrosoftAcces...Clipboard.html Good luck.
