Default To See or Not To See

I have copied a few tables of text from a web page into Excel. Some of the
information contain word that are hyperlinks or email addresses. Is there a
way to change those columns of information to reveal the web address or email
address?

Thanks

So is it just displaying plaintext currently?

Have you seen this information from the Help Menu?

When you make changes to the Hyperlink and Followed Hyperlink styles, your
changes apply to all hyperlinks (hyperlink: Colored and underlined text or a
graphic that you click to go to a file, a location in a file, a Web page on
the World Wide Web, or a Web page on an intranet. Hyperlinks can also go to
newsgroups and to Gopher, Telnet, and FTP sites.) in the current workbook.

On the Format menu, click Style.
To change the appearance of hyperlinks before or after they have been
clicked to make a jump, click Hyperlink or Followed Hyperlink in the Style
name box.
Click Modify.
Select the options you want, and then click OK.
Clear the check boxes for any options you don't want.
Click Add, and then click Close.
Note The Hyperlink style appears in the Style name box only if you have
previously created a text hyperlink in the workbook. The Followed Hyperlink
style appears only if you have used a text hyperlink in the workbook to jump
to another file and then returned to the original workbook.

It is currently displaying the hyperlink, just in a form of a word.

e.g. Microsoft

If you click on the word Microsoft you would go to www.microsoft.com

Hi,

Hover your cursor over the hyperlink and the path will be displayed in a
yellow comment box. If you would like to permanently display the path in the
cell (i.e. replace microsoft with www.microsoft.com), right click on the
cell, and use edit hyperlinks. The top pane shows the display name, the
bottom pane shows the path. Copy the path to the display name. I am not
sure if there is a quick way to do this. NOTE: You will have to use keyboard
commands to copy and paste.

Ctrl + c = copy

Ctrl + v = paste
