Chart with 2 Axis
Hi, I have a chart which I am struggling with, I can usually do dual axis
charts but this wont let me. Below is the data I am trying to plot. I would like the first 2 sets of values in a bar and the last in a line, however when I plot the first set of data is so high value that I cannot locate the second and 3rd data series to plot onto a secondary axis. Any ideas of how I could resolve? Many thanks Paula Jan-08 2585637 3485 741.933142 Feb-08 2600656 3255 798.9726575 Mar-08 2550071 2725 935.8058716 Apr-08 5316538 5181 1026.160587 May-08 10148492 9629 1053.950774 Jun-08 9863458 9482 1040.229698 Jul-08 10719837 9926 1079.975519 Aug-08 8133926 7359 1105.303166 Sep-08 12189625 11183 1090.01386 Oct-08 11086509 10967 1010.897146 Nov-08 6050646 7247 834.9173451 |

Chart with 2 Axis
Once you select one of the series in your graph, you could use the up and
down arrow keys to select one of the other series, and then you would be able to format it. (move to second axis, change graph type, etc.) -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Paula" wrote: Hi, I have a chart which I am struggling with, I can usually do dual axis charts but this wont let me. Chart with 2 Axis
Hi Luke, Thanks for the tip. I have sorted the axis but the chart will only
stack the bars rather than have 2 columns, even when I change the chart type, any idea how I would get 2 columns instead of a stacked column for the first 2 sets of values? Thanks for your help. Chart with 2 Axis
Two ideas:
Select only one of the data series, and from the menu bar, select Chart-Chart type, and change to side-by-side column. Other option is to right click on chart, and change chart type from there to side-by-side. Unfortunately this will probably make the 3rd series a column again, but you should be able to easily change it back to a line. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Paula" wrote: Hi Luke, Thanks for the tip.
