Default how do I hide a cell formula from the formula bar

I want to enter a formula in a cell - but dont want it to appear in the
formula bar.
Please let me know - how to go about it. Thanks.

FormatCellProtectionUnlock the cell and enable Hidden

ToolsOptionsProtect Sheet................sheet MUST be protected
