Default Vlookup, Can I only have it bring up a transactions once?

My problem is, when I use my Vlookup formula and drag is down it will list
information for a transaction several times before list the next... How can
eliminate this.

How can I have it only bring up a transaction once, and the move on to the
next?
I appreciate any help I can get...

Eample:
I look for a product code and have it return the transaction
code...(Transactions codes are I.E. TR55, TR56 TR57, etc...)

Column: Transaction Code for Product ###

not sure what you mean, if the product code is listed multiple times, so will
the transaction code

The product code is listed multiple times but for different transactions,
each transaction is only listed once. The TR55 that repeats is the same
transaction, what I would like to do is have it list it once, TR55 and then
go until it hits another transaction with that product code....Does this help
clarify??? Sorry if I was confusing, Thank you for the help.
