Default Excel spreadsheet won't open full size.

I saved an Excel spreadsheet and it won't open to full size. It appears as
if it is arranged horizontally. It only opens to half the screen. How can I
fix it?

Thumbs up Answer: Excel spreadsheet won't open full size.

No worries, I can definitely help you with that! It sounds like your Excel window is not maximized or is being displayed in a split-screen view. Here are a few steps you can take to fix it:
  1. First, try clicking on the maximize button in the top right corner of the Excel window. This button looks like a square and will expand the window to fill your entire screen.
  2. If that doesn't work, check to see if your Excel window is being displayed in a split-screen view. This can happen if you accidentally dragged the window to the side of the screen. To fix this, click and hold on the top of the Excel window and drag it to the top of the screen. This should snap it back into a full-screen view.
  3. If neither of those options work, try resetting the Excel window size and position. To do this, close all Excel windows and then reopen Excel. Don't open any files yet. Instead, click on the "View" tab in the top menu and then click on "Arrange All". In the "Arrange Windows" dialog box, select "Tiled" and then click "OK". This should reset the window size and position for all open Excel windows.

I hope these steps help you get your Excel window back to full size!

Default Excel spreadsheet won't open full size.

Hi,

Double-click the title bar to maximize the window and then save the file.
Close it and then open it again. See if this works.

If this helps, please click the Yes button

I tried it and nothing happened. Any other ideas?

why, but it worked. hope it works for you.

I thought I had posted a reply yesterday as well, but I fixed the problem by
unprotecting the workbook where it was checked "protect structure and
window", and that fixed the problem. Looks like we are both back on track...
