Whenever this question is asked, the answer is always "Please, do not do it"
Here is part of a reply from J.E McGimpsey some time ago: US Government sites are prohibited by law from displaying flashing text (between 2 and 55 Hz) due to triggering seizures in those with photosensitive epilepsy. http://www.section508.gov/IRSCourse/mod02/021401--.html Many other organizations try to conform to section 508. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "Stefan" wrote in message ... |

I wouldn't recommend that you use blinking text. It is rather
annoying. However, if you want to do it, you need to use VBA code and a timer. See http://www.cpearson.com/Excel/BlinkingText.aspx for example code. Note the caveats Chip points out about blinking text being annoying. Users will soon learn to disable macros. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 1 Dec 2008 07:41:01 -0800, Stefan wrote: |
