'copy or move' name conflict
At a point in the way we work we copy the whole worksheet and start using
this one to preserve the information we were at. When copying we get the message: "A formula or sheet you want to move or copy contains the name JH, which already exists on the destination worksheet. Do you want to use this version of the name? To use the name as defined in the destination sheet, click Yes. To rename the range referred to in the formula or worksheet, click NO, and enter a new name in the Name Conflict dialog box. [YES] [NO]" and then it one by one goes through names that are already in the destination. Problem 1: we are copying the entire sheet so there should be nothing in the destination. Problem 2: I have searches some of the names it goves me in the sheet and they aren't even there! We work on excel 2003 & 2007 but save as .xls Thanks. |
