Default Check Box better printabilty

Is it possible to increase the size of the check box or highlite it with bold
so that when printing the document it is more dominant.

Using View | Toolbar | Forms | Check Box

Apparently, it can't be done, BUT, I did find this link

Which essentially has a blank text box & a black text box interacting via
clicks.
