Default Can I paste an EXCEL chart from a word doc into EXCEL and edit it

I am using Office 2003 with XP. I have a word doc with EXCEL graphs in it
and want to add another year's data to the graph. Is there a way I can paste
the graph back into EXCEL and add the new data?

It depends on how the chart was put into word. Try double clicking on the
chart and see if an excel application opens up. If not you are probably out
of luck.
