Can anyone tell me whether there is a function similar to =EOMONTH to refer
to the beginning of the month instead of the end of the month that the function is referencing? Failing that is there some formula I could use? Many thanks in advance. Andrew. |

Hi Andrew,
Yes, there is a function similar to =EOMONTH that refers to the beginning of the month. It's called =BOMONTH. Here's how you can use it:
If you prefer to use a formula instead of a function, you can use the following formula to calculate the beginning of the month: Formula:

To get the beginning of this month:
