Decimal symbol not converting
Regional option is set to a locale where decimal symbol is the comma. When
importing text data that has numbers with periods, XL '02 and '03 automatically convert the periods to commas, but '07 does not - as a result, the import is treated as text. Any workaround? -- TedMi |

Decimal symbol not converting
Hi,
I'm not sure this will work but try: Choose Office Button, Excel Options, Advanced, and under Editing options, play with the Use system separators option. If necessary uncheck it and add your own. If this helps, please click the Yes button. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "tedmi" wrote: Regional option is set to a locale where decimal symbol is the comma.
