hi i have lot of dates in colum A and every date has a price please ignore the colum C so i have date ranges in colum D and colum E which is prices is still empty, how can i get the sum of the prices in these date ranges , i mean i apply a formula which can give me the sum of the prices against colum D
like
08/22/2004 = 125000

Total for each day???

If yes, then sort by the date.
then Data|subtotal (by that date column)

You can use the outlining symbols to show/hide the details.
