Default My mouse wheel zooms the page instead of scrolling

Whenever I use my mouse wheel in Excel, it zooms the page in and out rather
than scroll. This happens only in excel.

For XL'07, that's found under Excel Options, Advanced, Edition options.

Thumbs up Answer: My mouse wheel zooms the page instead of scrolling

No worries, I can help you with that! It sounds like the zoom feature has been enabled on your mouse. Here's how you can fix it:
  1. Open Excel and click on the "File" tab in the top left corner.
  2. Click on "Options" at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
  3. In the Excel Options window, click on "Advanced" in the left-hand menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Zoom" section and uncheck the box that says "Zoom on roll with Intellimouse".
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

That should do the trick! Now your mouse wheel should scroll the page instead of zooming in and out. If you have any other issues, feel free to ask.
