Excel 2003 trying to open all Excel files on double-click
I have Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 on the same PC. When I double-click any excel file (whether it's in '03 or '07 format), Excel '03 tries to open it. I'd like Excel '07 to be the default program for all my Excel files instead. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Excel 2003 trying to open all Excel files on double-click
Try
1-Open My Computer 2-Go to Tools --Folder options 3-Click the File Types tab 4-Scroll down to the XLS file type and highlight it 5-Click the Advanced button 6-Under actions, click to highlight "Open" 7-Click the Edit button 8-In the path, change "Office11" to "Office12" no quotes 9-Click Ok, Ok You can also try "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Excel.exe" /Regserver Check your path and adapt if it is different. You may have to unregister Office 11 first "Mike" wrote: I have Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 on the same PC.
