Default paste function not working Excel 2007

When I copy cells in Excel 2007, then try to paste it within the same
worksheet or a different worksheet, the Paste function is not highlighted.
This function has worked just fine in the past, but all of a sudden I can't
select Paste.

Hi,

1. Make sure the spreadsheet is not protected - choose Tools, Protection.

2. The paste command will not be available if you are in the cell - that
means if you are in Edit mode with the cursor on the formula bar or blinking
in the cell.

3. The problem here may be that you bought a computer that included a trial
version of Office Suite. Most likely basic. I've known two people that have
done that now. You'll need to purchase the full version to regain full
functionality. Otherwise the Open Office suggestion offered above is your
second best alternative.

If any of this helps, please click the Yes button.

Hello

I have the same problem with Excel. I have tried to use your solutions but
unfortunately they didn,t work. Are there any other ways to solve the
problem. It is possible to use paste button/menu which is located just under
the "Office package button" in the left-upper part of the screen, yet it is
much more convenient to have mouse right-click woking properly.
thanks in advance for help
