Default filtering data from list

hiya
i have a large spread sheet with about 1300 lines.
in column A i have the account number (100,101,102 etc) in column B to J i
have the information for each account.
what i would like to do is paste in several account# in a seperate column
then filter them out in column A

i have found this ... =COUNTIF($B$1310:$B$2618,"*"&A2&"*")0 and it works
but it only with letters, not numbers.
