Default Cell Address

HI
I want to copy a cell address which is on a different worksheet (same file).
How do I do it? I tried using the ADDRESS formula but it does not show
correct result.
The number I want to copy from is on worksheet 1 and copy to worksheet 4.
The cell address in worksheet 1 is Row 4, Column D.
thank you

Copy from the formula toolbar or select the cell, press F2, press shift +
home and ctrl + C and then paste

Enter in the desired cell in Sheet4
(I am assuming sheet name is Sheet1 for worksheet1)

=Sheet1!D4

OR you can also enter = in any cell in Sheet4
Then click on Sheet1
Click on D4
Press Enter and you are done

The number I want to copy from is on worksheet 1 and copy to worksheet 4.
The cell address in worksheet 1 is Row 4, Column D.

It's even easier than that, what you are asking for is a link and all you
have to do is to copy the cell
then paste special and select paste link. No need to type anything

No problem. Now you know :-)

I always try to click the cell to get the address rather than typing it out
unless it is like =A1.
