Default Subtotal appears at the beginning instead of the end....

After manipulating a spreadsheet I received from someone, I want to subtotal
by item. My subtotals appear at the beginning of the item instead of at the
end. The grand total appears at the top of the spreadsheet instead of at the
bottom. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what I need to do in
order to correct?

Sara B,

When you do your subtotals, are you ensuring that the button for "Summary
below data" is checked?

Thank you! I looked at this for a long time and never realized that wasn't
checked!
