Default Retain Column Width

When updating, or opening a pivot table the column widths keep
reverting back to a different width. I keep saving it in the new size
and it keeps reverting back to a smaller size... this is becoming very
frustrating.

I have set settings to "save format on exit" .. what am i missing
here, this is really driving me mad.

With thanks

Bob
