Default Protecting conditional formatting

Hi Bob, sorry I wasn't more specific, I'll explain... I have a range of cells
set up that change colour depending on the value entered in them, however,
the problem is that some users are changing the formatting setup so if
possible I would like to be able to lock or disable the formatting option
once I've reset the CF values. Can you help me?

Thank you

Phil

Default Protecting conditional formatting

You can unlock the cells for data input then protect the sheet with a
password.

Users won't be allowed to "format cells" and the CF will be grayed out.

Note: Excel internal security is quite weak and passwords easily cracked.
