Hi, could someone please tell me how to 'lock' a column in an excel
chart? I am using Office XP (2002) on Windows XP Pro SP2. I downloaded a template from Microsoft called 'Landscape Plant List', which is basically a list of plants, along with their needs & characteristics. The name of the plant is in column B, and then multiple columns to the right of that contain various bits of information about the plant specified in that column. The chart is wider than the screen, so one has to scroll across to see the columns on the far right, and when I scroll across the chart _Column B, with the plant name in it remains stationary_, and thus is visible, all the time. I'd like to design some excel charts of my own with a similar 'locked main-title column' but wherever I've tried looking in cell or column properties etc, I can't seem to spot what it is they've done on the downloaded template to make it behave like that. -- Cheers, Robin McInnes Cheshire, UK (Email address in header contains a spam trap.
