I'm working on a sheet with some protected cells. I want make it possible
that poeple can hide some columns but not the protecten cels that are in the same columns. I try'd it, but when I select the columns including the protected cells the option to hide the columns is gray. Is something like that possible? |

Maybe you could give the users a macro that would hide the columns.
You could start by recording one that unprotects the worksheet hides the selected columns (or whatever you want!) protects the worksheet wtebra wrote: I'm working on a sheet with some protected cells. @ muddan madhu
I already try'd your solution. But this is not the answer, it is indeed possible to moddify the column with, but not to hide columns. @ Dave Peterson Creating a macro is also not possible. I'm trying to make a planning document were people can hide or unhide columns containing weeks of the year. Parhaps there is another solution/method for my problem. If you can't do it via the user interface and you can't do it via a macro, I
don't know what's left. wtebra wrote: @ muddan madhu I already try'd your solution.
