I am subtotaling data and the "grand total" is populating at the top of the
data rather that at the bottom. How do I get it to the bottom? |

I'm on the new 2007 (and hate it!!), I'm just using the Subtotal function on
the data tab. Once I get the dialog box everything looks normal but it's putting the grand total at the top, I don't see an option to choose where to locate it and I 've never had this before. Thanks! "Sean Timmons" wrote: how are you subtotalling? using formulas or pivots or other? When you apply the subtotal and that little window pops up you need to
select "Summary below the data" or else it will be on top. I am not a big fan of 2007 either. I have it only because I must but I do 99% of my work in 2003 which can be on the same PC btw -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "smartgal" wrote in message ... I tried that and it STILL put it on the top (!!). Someone bring back the
classic menus!! I'll try again, though, and see if maybe it's less temperamental today.
