Default Updating cells by adding 5%

I have several cells that have numeric values in them and I need to update
each cell by 5%. How can I create a formula in the first cell and copy it to
all my other cells so that I do not have to mulitply each cell by 5%????

You don't need a formula.

Put 1.05 (105%) in an empty cell
edit|copy that cell
select your range to adjust
Edit|paste special|click multiply and values
clear that cell with 1.05 in it.

That will convert a value of 1 to 0.05. The value to copy is 1.05
