Hey guys,

just wondering if you can help me with this.
the TAB key moves cells selector right, and the enter key moves cell
selector DOWN....but the enter key isn't moving it down, it just stays. how
can i fix this?

and

when ive selected a series, or one cell, or whatever.
the icon doesnt change at all.
how do i fix this??

Tim,

Q1. Tools|Option|Edit tab
Ensure 'Move selection after edit' is checked and select the direction to
move from the dropdown.

Q2. Which Icon?

your a gem mate.

ive got office 2007...so it wasnt there.
however, it got me looking in the right place.

the answer to my 2nd question was right next to the first one in the window

for those needing an answer to this:
ribbon button (top left)excel optionsadvanced"after pressing enter, move
selection" (choose down)

then below it:
"enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop"
