Default unhiding pane in Excel 2007

Hello! The viewing pane under each menu item (Home, Insert, Page Layout,
etc) is hiding. Not sure how this happened. In order to view the options, I
have to click on the menu item, and then the entire pane is viewable. But as
soon as I select an option, the entire pane hides again.

Where is the setting to keep the pane viewable at all times?

Justin
