Default a "SUMIF" question

If I sum column A if the cell value is bigger then let's say 10, then I do
=SUMIF(A1:A100,"10", A1:A100), however, this doesn't work if the criteria is
in another cell. if I want to sum column A if its cell value is bigger than
the number in cell B1.

So, how can I sum column A if its cell value is bigger than the number in
cell B1?

Thanks!
