Default Some Text formatting may have changed in this file because

In Excel 2007, I get the message:

"Some Text formatting may have changed in this file because the maximum
number of fonts was exceeded. It may help to close other documents and try
again."

What causes the message and how do I get rid of it?
Thank you.
