Default macro?

How would a macro read if you highlighted an area then run a macro that would
cut and paste that area to a specific location?

any help would be appreciated thank you

Try something like

Selection.Cut Destination:=Range("K10")

I tried that and received a compile error! any other ideas?

Selection.Cut Destination:=ActiveSheet.Range("K43")

end sub
