I created several named ranges with workbook scope. Then I decided to change
some of them to dynamic ranges (using the offset and counta functions). When I work with them from the Name Manager, they are visible and select the proper cells. When I close the Name Manager and try to select the range by using the drop down list below the ribbon (sorry, I don't know what this is called), the changed range names are no longer there. Where did they go? |

Thanks for the info. However, when I open the Apply Names box, none of the
dynamic range names are in the list -- only the static ones. That's the way excel works.
But you can type those names into the namebox and hit enter if you want to select the range. Susan wrote: I created several named ranges with workbook scope.
