Default Subtoal

I feel stupid asking this question once again. I am trying to set up a
business. I need to have a running sub total on certain columns. I was told
to click on View for all details. I am unable to find "All Detials". Any
help you can give me to set this up would be appreciated.

Default Subtoal

If you used Data|Subtotals to create the subtotals, then you can use the
outlining symbols to the left of the worksheet to show/hide those details.

Notice the 1 2 3 ... in boxes at the top left. Try clicking on them and see
what happens.

If you don't see the outlining symbols, you can click on:
Tools|Options|view tab|check Outline Symbols

(All xl2003 menus. If you're using xl2007, you'll have to rummage around for
the equivalent.)
