Default Print preview or document in color

My document will not print or preview with background color. All printer
properties are correct. It was copied from 2002 excel to 2008

Maybe,

File|Page Setup
Select 'Sheet' tab and un-check Black & White.

You sure you're not set for Black and White or Draft Quality under Page
SetupSheet?
