Default Protection Issue


Good Evening Everyone !

I'm Miki and using Office 2k3 and is facing problem while using protection
in excel.

I have some formulas in my worksheet and I want that nobody can see the
formulas but they get only the values whatever is shown in the cell on
selecting the purticular cell !!!!

I know this is possible but I'm unaware of it !!!!

Can anybody guide me about that ???

Default Protection Issue

Right click the cell and select Format Cells... - Protection tab and check
locked and hidden.

Did you protect the worksheet after setting the cells?

Yes I did but still it's not working.

I'm using excel 2003

It shows the formula instead of the value .....

Default Protection Issue

If you are seeing formulas in the cells but not in the formula bar because
you have hidden them, I would suggest you are in "Formula View".

Hit CTRL + `(backquote above Tab key) to toggle off.
