Default Embedded file

A pdf file can be embedded into a work sheet by the Insert/Object menu.
When the icon/control so produced is clicked the file opens with Acrobat
Reader which is fine.
There seems to be no way to prevent the user from moving or even removing
the link.

The file could also be opened with a hyperlink but that means the user has
to ensure the file is maintained in a standard place.

Is there a solution that is user proof?

TIA
Henry

Nothing is truely userproof but you can make it more difficult by protecting
the worksheet that the pdf is embedded in...

Nothing is truly userproof but you can make it more difficult by

Tried that Jim.
As usual nothing is protected unless you lock it.
So just protecting the sheet ( it always is with a password too) made no
difference.
Locking the object then protecting the sheet disabled the object/link.
Sure user proof but no use to anyone either!
