I have a spread sheet of many thousands or rows and my comments are always
moving causing me a lot of extra work so I tried to move them into the cells
but only about 125 row height is all I can get. I can make the cell as large
as I want but the data goes to the bottom and leaves the top empty. I'm
using Excel XP. Anyway to fix this problem?

Excel specs say that you can enter 32767 characters in a cell but only 1024
of them will show or print.

You can increase this number by adding an Alt + Enter every 100 or so
characters.

And ...........no, merging several cells does not increase this limit.
