Does anyone know the shortcut key to center the contents of a cell? (As
opposed to right or left alignment.) Thanks.

you could always record a macro and assign a shortcut to this macro)

I don't believe there is one

Record a macro and assign a shortcut to it

i don't think there is but check this site
